Michael is the Managing Director of Design Haus Site Services Ltd, a bespoke, multi-disciplinary specialist contractor delivering Building Services (MEP) and Facilities Management solutions. With a strong background in Pre-Construction and Project Leadership, he brings a wealth of experience from across the construction industry. His expertise spans bids, HVAC systems, value engineering, cost management, and both main and sub-contracting. Michael holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and is also qualified in Construction Law an impressive combination that underpins his strong operational acumen.
Michael’s journey in the industry has been nothing short of remarkable. Starting as a Senior Electrical Estimator, he steadily progressed through the ranks taking on roles as Estimating Manager, Project Director, and Commercial Director. His upward trajectory continued as he became Pre-Construction Director, before ultimately taking the bold step of founding Design Haus.
Design Haus stands out as a high-quality, multi-discipline contractor, offering full MEP services from design and installation through to aftercare. Operating across commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, and residential sectors, the company is committed to excellence and tailored project delivery.
Looking ahead, Michael is focused on expanding his footprint in the property sector. He aims to become a multi-site developer and is actively seeking joint venture opportunities particularly funding for potential developments.
Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is a passionate advocate for community development. One of his proudest accomplishments is creating learning pathways for the next generation. He is especially focused on supporting ethnic minority communities and is working to establish an industry learning hub to foster talent and opportunity.
It is an honour to share Michael’s story. His journey is a testament to what can be achieved through determination and vision. By launching his own company, he has inspired many and demonstrated what’s possible in the construction space. We look forward to seeing how his next chapter unfolds.
