Joe is the Managing Director of Cornerstone Developments and a distinguished real estate developer with over 12 years of experience in both business and property development. Passionate about transforming visions into reality, he has left a lasting mark on the commercial landscapes of both the United Kingdom and Ghana. Known for his exceptional leadership, Joe also owns Cornerstone Invest in the UK an investment vehicle established to raise capital for his ventures around the world.
Joe’s journey into real estate began with a desire to bridge the gap in Ghana’s luxury housing market. When he returned to Ghana in 2000, he noticed a shortage of premium residential options. “When I came out looking for somewhere to stay other than a hotel, the offerings at the time were quite limited,” he recalls. Drawing on his experience in property development in London, Joe founded Cornerstone Developments to address this need.
The company’s portfolio reflects its steady growth and impact. Its first major project, the East Legon Townhouses, launched in 2013 and marked the start of Cornerstone’s commercial real estate journey. Since then, the firm has delivered a series of acclaimed projects Noble Square, Nyla Court, Nissi Place, Altitude Residence, and Aura Cantonments collectively adding over 500 residential units to Ghana’s market. These developments range from multi-unit complexes to bespoke luxury homes, each defined by exceptional design and meticulous attention to detail.
One of Cornerstone’s flagship developments, Ava Residence, currently rising in Accra’s prestigious Airport Residential area, is set to redefine luxury living in Ghana. The nearly 12-storey tower has already sold 80% of its apartments before completion a testament to the company’s stellar reputation and demand for its projects.
