Tomi Jimoh
At PeopleDem property we believe in celebrating our community by spotlighting black excellence in property. Today we are celebrating Tomi Jimoh.
Tomi is the Founder and CEO of 22Luxe Group, a company that hosts leading property events including the Property Development Summit, Property Investing Summit, and Real Estate Conference. Alongside events, 22Luxe Group provides property acquisition consulting and property sourcing services across serviced accommodation, BRRR (Buy, Refurbish, Rent, Refinance) projects, short leases, and commercial conversions, predominantly in London.
Before launching 22Luxe Group, Tomi founded TK Apparel, a premium personal shopping service focused on curating high-quality, signature looks for clients who value style, convenience, and exclusivity. Through sourcing rare items, building full wardrobe upgrades, and strengthening clients’ personal brands, Tomi developed the entrepreneurial foundation that would later support his transition into property.
Tomi’s pivot into property came from recognising the opportunities within the industry and the ability to leverage his existing client base. Reflecting on this decision, he shared “Seeing how much I could leverage the clients I already had. Also understanding that long term, I wanted to do developments worldwide.”
As he grew 22Luxe Group, Tomi invested heavily in his education by working with industry professionals. He worked as a luxury real estate agent in partnership with the Tyron Ash Real Estate Group, buying and selling property across London and Dubai and bridging luxury with quality. Tomi credits Rhys Henry as a key influence in his journey, explaining that working alongside him shifted his perspective on sales and fuelled his ambition to succeed in real estate while staying authentic to himself.
Tomi is deeply committed to personal growth while helping others succeed. He is particularly motivated by helping people generate wealth through property, sharing that his greatest fulfilment comes from seeing clients replace salaried income with sustainable property returns. Tomi believes his greatest strength what he calls his “superpower” is his unwavering belief in himself. When asked which trait has contributed most to his success, he said
“Delusion. I see goals in a different light to what many may see. I’ve planned and executed events that take most people six months or more in less than three weeks. My delusion and uncapped belief that I’ll be successful has taken me quite far.”
Outside of business, Tomi shared several moments he is particularly proud of, including becoming a Mentor at Kinetic Football Foundation. He also noted, “I sold my first £1 million+ property at 18 and hosted over 300 property investors and professionals in my first year of running events.”
One lesser-known fact Tomi shared is that he is naturally introverted something he hopes will inspire others who feel their personality may limit their success. His journey shows that introversion does not prevent building strong client relationships or leading large-scale events.
Looking ahead, Tomi is actively looking to build a team of leaders to scale his businesses and execute ambitious plans for 2026. His wider vision includes creating pathways to help young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds enter and scale within the property industry. He also shared aspirations to be featured on Forbes 30 Under 30, build a multi-million-pound international property portfolio, and mentor the next generation of successful leaders.
It has been a pleasure to share Tomi’s story. We are passionate about highlighting the journeys of young property entrepreneurs, especially those whose success helps make ambitious goals feel attainable. Showcasing someone who has achieved so much at such a young age is truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing where Tomi’s journey takes him next.
