Linda Attram
At PeopleDem Property, we believe in celebrating our community by spotlighting Black excellence in property. Today, we are celebrating Linda Attram.
Linda is a seasoned property investor and developer with over 25 years of experience building a multi-million-pound property portfolio across the UK, the Caribbean, and Ghana. Her expertise spans land development, buy-to-let, HMOs, serviced apartments, and rent-to-rent strategies.
Beyond property, Linda is an accomplished author, international speaker, mentor at Westminster University, and former Regional Director for the Global Woman Club. Her impact has been widely recognised she was named Global Woman Club Regional Director of the Year 2023 and Inspirational Mother of the Year at the Inspiration Awards for Women 2023.
Outside of business, Linda enjoys travelling the world with her husband. She trained in taekwondo for eight years, earning a second-degree black belt, and is now training in kickboxing. Above all, she is a proud wife and mother of three.
When asked who helped her get to where she is today, Linda shared:
“I have been deeply supported by my parents (RIP), my husband, and my faith in God. Their belief in me, encouragement, and guidance have been instrumental throughout my journey.”
Linda’s property journey began while she and her husband were dating. At the time, they both owned their own homes. They released equity from those properties to purchase their first home together and rented out their individual properties. That decision introduced them to the power of cashflow and passive income.
They repeated the process, invested in property education, and from there, their journey truly began. One of Linda’s proudest achievements is developing an apartment block in South London a project that tested her on every level and strengthened her both professionally and personally. Knowing that future generations of her family will pass that building and say, “That’s one of the buildings mum and dad built,” means everything to her.
Despite all she has achieved, Linda continues to push forward. What motivates her most is creating high-quality homes for people who may not yet be in a position to buy their own. She takes great pride in building long-term, respectful relationships with her tenants, many of whom stay for five years or more. Knowing that her work provides stability, security, and dignity for families is deeply fulfilling. She attributes her success to resilience, courage, and persistence she doesn’t give up easily and has learned to keep moving forward regardless of challenges.
Linda’s mission is to empower women to build financial independence, confidence, and purpose, while creating wealth that serves not just their lifestyle, but their legacy. She is currently working on a new project designed to help women navigate the different seasons of life with power, grace, and confidence. One of her biggest goals is to inspire more women to live their best lives and achieve financial independence.
Her life’s work is about transforming vision into reality from leaving school with very little education, feeling shy and lacking confidence, to building a successful career, a loving family, and a lasting legacy for future generations.
Looking ahead ten years, Linda envisions a significantly larger portfolio, creating further generational wealth for her family in a highly tax-efficient way. She sees even greater time freedom, continued travel with her husband, and the creation of magical memories with her family truly living their best lives.
If Linda’s journey resonates with you, she is currently looking for Investors who want to place funds with a highly credible and experienced property professional on future projects and achieve strong returns. She is also looking for women seeking guidance and mentorship as they navigate the different seasons of life.
It has been an honour to share Linda’s story. There are still too few women in property development, and even fewer from the diaspora. Linda is incredibly inspiring not only for her advocacy for women’s economic empowerment, but for doing so as a mother, showing her children and other mothers that property development is a powerful and achievable option.
