Ronaldo Hare

At PeopleDem property we believe in celebrating our community by spotlighting black excellence in property. Today we are celebrating Ronaldo Hare.

Ronaldo is the founder of Men's Prosperity Club C.I.C and the Director of Prem Property. Ronaldo creates spaces; spaces for men to be vulnerable and discuss mental health, personal development, and wellbeing; spaces for vulnerable families or individuals to call home.

Ronaldo has done a lot of incredible things, but when asked which of his achievements he is most proud of, he simply answered “The fact that I started”. Taking the first step, that is the hardest and the most celebration worthy accomplishment. Martin Luther King, Jr. is quoted as saying, "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step". Every day, in business and life, Ronaldo takes the first steps to completing new goals.

Ronaldo is doing incredible work in the community and has ambitions to take his work to the next level, by impacting the lives of 5,000 people through housing and the community he has created. On top of this, he aims to develop Brownfield Sites into sustainable housing for vulnerable groups nationwide. He would also like to be on the board for international bodies that have initiatives to create housing solutions for vulnerable groups.

We asked Ronaldo to share a book or course that most people might not know about, but he has found valuable. He recommended “The Magic of Thinking Big” and “Ask and It Is Given”, as he found these to be two very powerful books that, if studied, can be life changing. Everything else, he said, can be gathered from YouTube and experiences.

Ronaldo sites his own life experiences as his inspiration to pursue a career in property. He said that everything he does is born from his own personal journey and the challenges he has encountered. Many people have helped Ronaldo over his career, through conversations and content. When he was starting his journey, two mentor-like figures stuck out as people that pushed him to be better.

Ronaldo is currently looking to work with housing associations that want a solution to the challenges of servicing the homelessness crisis, and community leaders that are inspired to make a change in their area.

The work that Ronaldo does is incredibly inspiring and deeply rooted in helping the community to prosper. It is an honour to write about him and celebrate the work that he and his teams do. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Ronaldo.
