Nicole Riley

This October, in honour of Black History Month, we’re celebrating 31 Black professionals in property. Today we’re celebrating Nicole Riley.

Nicole is a property investor, Graduate Talent Consultant at Birmingham City University, director at Women with a Vision CIC, and Founder & Director of iDEAL STAFF.

Nicole is dedicated to helping young people navigate the career maze through her diverse network and expertise. iDEAL STAFF, her staffing agency, specialises in supplying Events & Hospitality staff. She started the business to create employment opportunities for young people struggling to find conventional jobs, helping them gain soft skills and people management that will serve them throughout life. As flexible working has increased, iDEAL STAFF now includes not only students but also people seeking additional income and flexible hours.

In her role as Graduate Talent Consultant at BCU, Nicole manages the link between businesses and student talent, connecting students and graduates to employment opportunities. This role allows her to help young people strive for greatness through education and learning, which she thoroughly enjoys.

Nicole also mentors several young professionals, and is a director at Women with a Vision CIC, focusing on Personal Development workshops to empower women and create Vision boards for setting and achieving life goals.

Her journey into property began at age 24 when she bought her first house, eventually flourishing into a full-fledged property investor by 36. At 36 she decide to start investing heavily into property now, Nicole's portfolio includes buy-to-lets and Serviced Accommodations in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Nicole is investing in both people through her work and wealth for her family. Growing her portfolio brings assets to her family and imparts knowledge about an asset class critical to wealth preservation. Through iDEAL STAFF, she helps the next generation of property professionals by providing employment opportunities, and through her role at BCU, she connects graduates to promising careers.

We are proud to celebrate Nicole Riley's remarkable journey and her contributions to empowering young people and women. Her dedication to creating opportunities and fostering growth is truly inspiring. It’s exciting to see where her journey will take her next, and we are honoured to be part of it.
