Chloe Agbe

This October, in honour of Black History Month, we’re celebrating 31 Black professionals in property. Today we’re celebrating Chloe Agbe.

Chloe is the co-owner of Inven3 Specialists Ltd, she is a home educator, social entrepreneur, and Black health and wellbeing advocate. Inven3 Specialists, based in Birmingham, provides detailed, efficient property support services to letting agents, landlords, and tenants. Their aim is to minimise issues and disputes often arising with lettings and tenancies. They offer specialist Inventory Report Services, considered among the best in the field, specialising in Inventory Reports, Check In, Check Out, Interim Reports, and Schedule of Condition. They also produce professional Floor Plans, Legionella Risk Assessments, and Property Health and Safety Reports.

Chloe’s story is incredibly inspiring. Despite living with a long-term chronic illness, Lupus, she has transformed her career from primary teaching to property management, finding new determination and applying transferable skills, finding new determination, applying transferable skills and a genuine desire to help people.

Chloe wants anyone with a long-term illness to know that they can bounce back. She encourages drawing on inner strength, celebrating small wins, and keeping the "why" close in all that you do. She is preparing to delve into Social Enterprise, aiming to provide therapeutic support, employability skills, and business advice for those with long-term illnesses.

Through challenging business experiences, Chloe has learned to use discernment in choosing who to work with. Through challenging business experiences, Chloe has learned to use discernment in how best to work with the right people. Learning the power of your “No”, can often be your saving grace. A valuable course from her teaching days, focused on Black Child Development by African History Studies, taught her the importance of using her moral compass, setting boundaries, and creating organic relationships.

Chloe cheekily asked for a certificate of attendance from that course, and she still has it. Her future plans include providing therapeutic support for those with long-term illnesses and offering sound, genuine, legal, and practical support throughout their property journey. Chloe’s journey shows that there is space for those with chronic illnesses in the property industry, with various accessible roles for different people.

We are excited to see where Chloe's philanthropic pursuits take her and how her journey in property develops.
