Marian is a housing solicitor and entrepreneur. She is the founder of BEKKMAAF Global Networks, a global PR and network marketing consultancy for startups, SMEs, and creatives. Through the consultancy, she connects businesses and professionals by creating opportunities through network marketing and brand visibility events.

She is known for blending legal expertise with strategic event planning and management. Alongside running her business, Marian also works at a Legal 500 City law firm in London.

With a background spanning housing law, compliance, start-up advisory, and corporate marketing, she supports founders and SMEs by providing practical legal guidance alongside impactful business development strategies.

Marian has organised and delivered high-value seminars, conferences, and networking events that connect entrepreneurs, inspire collaboration, and drive growth. Recognised for her clear communication, professional insight, and ability to empower and connect B2B professionals, she brings a unique legal-corporate perspective to every stage she steps onto.

In her legal role, Marian defends vulnerable tenants affected by poor housing and property conditions, as well as those facing eviction and homelessness. She also has a keen interest and extensive experience in the private rented sector (PRS), HMOs, and property licensing regulations, applying the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) to assess hazards in both private rented and social housing in accordance with local government standards. Helping people in need has always been at the heart of her decision to pursue a career as a housing solicitor.

There is a clear theme running through everything Marian does: a passion for helping others, rooted in her faith. One of her proudest achievements has been connecting entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and industries through her PR and business consultancy, BEKKMAAF Global Networks, on a global scale. Speaking about her faith, Marian shared, "I am a passionate youth advocate and run a global youth ministry for young Christians called The Soulitude Org (The 12th Hour CryOut Ministry)."

Marian believes the qualities that have enabled her to achieve success in both her career and business are her ability to connect people, her intuition, resilience, determination, and what she describes as "the God factor." As a Christian, she believes her faith has shaped the person she is today. This passion continues to drive her to do more. She is committed to making a greater global impact by educating young people about using their gifts and talents wisely. Looking ahead to the next decade, Marian hopes to become a housing and property expert, advising local government and social housing organisations on compliance, risk, policy, and housing management.

When asked how people can support her in achieving these ambitious goals, Marian shared, "Grant funding for my start-up business, BEKKMAAF Global Networks, would help us continue building a global platform that connects startups and SMEs. I'm also open to collaborations. We will be hosting our first Africa Summit (AccLon Summit) in Accra, Ghana, in December 2027, bringing together businesses and entrepreneurs from the UK and Ghana who are looking to explore cross-border opportunities and investment."

Because Marian is so passionate about helping others, we also asked her to recommend a book or course that people may not know about but that she found particularly valuable. She recommended a course in Motivational Interviewing (CBT), which focuses on assessing mental wellbeing and supporting people experiencing emotional distress through talking therapy.

It has been a true honour to celebrate Marian. Countless people have benefited from the opportunities created through the connections made at her events. She also serves as an inspiring role model for young Black girls who aspire to succeed in the legal profession, showing them that they, too, can achieve great things by seeing someone who looks like them leading the way.
