Claudette Johnson

This October, in honour of Black History Month, we’re celebrating 31 Black professionals in property. Today we’re celebrating Claudette Johnson.

Claudette is a full-time Civil Litigation & Commercial locum Solicitor by day and a property investor during evenings and weekends.

Right now, she's diving into her first BRRR renovation, transforming a 3-bed detached house into 5 studios and 2 double rooms, all with en-suites. Currently, she's applying to the Council for sui generis approval, essential for housing 6+ people. Despite delays she keeps pushing through, driven by immense self-belief and determination. The project has been challenging and she has learnt so much during the process. It should be finished December 2024. Once completed there will be a lot of tears, laughter and joy.

With extra land at the rear, Claudette plans to dive into land development early 2025. There's another twist to the project, but that's under wraps for now. Follow her journey on Instagram for updates!

Claudette is all about empowering people, especially women, to get educated and involved in property, enabling them to live life on their terms and enjoy financial comfort. We’re excited to see where her property journey takes her and hope to support her mission in promoting property education.
